CASES OF ILLEGAL USE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND DETECTED IN SAMARKAND REGION

Studies conducted by the Samarkand regional department of the Uzagroinspection revealed cases of illegal use of land allocated for agriculture, and appropriate measures were taken.

In particular, in the territory of the “F. Qosimova Agroservis Agrofirm” located in the Samarkand district, on an irrigated land plot with a bonity of 81.0 points located on the 470th contour of the agricultural map, a local citizen was found to have built an 80 square meter barn. Due to this arbitrarily constructed construction, this land plot was removed from agricultural circulation. Based on the calculations of the case, the amount of damage caused to the state amounted to 10 million 102 thousand 289 soums.

It was also found that Samadov Akmal, a resident of the “Ilmobod” neighborhood of the Toylok district, caused serious damage to the fertile layer of the 0.1872 hectare irrigated land plot with a bonity of 75 points belonging to the “Shohrukhmirzo Nozima Bog’lari” farm, which has been used on a lease basis for many years. The fertile layer was excavated to a depth of 60-70 centimeters, as a result of which the land was taken out of agricultural circulation. As a result of this situation, damage was caused to the state interests in the amount of 198 million 771 thousand 888 soums.

These circumstances were assessed in accordance with the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 146 dated May 25, 2011, and measures were taken in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation.

The Samarkand Regional Department of the “Uzagroinspection” calls on all legal entities and individuals who are users and tenants of their lands to rationally use the land, which is our national wealth, the basis of the life, activity and well-being of our people, and first of all, to ensure the special protection and expansion of irrigated lands and their use for a strictly defined purpose.
