SEEDLINGS AND AGROTECHNICAL MEASURES UNDER INSPECTION CONTROL

In the Samarkand region, seed sowing has been completed on 60,000 hectares of land for the 2025 harvest. A total of 2,126 tons of seed were used on these areas, of which 1,343 tons are hairy and 783 tons are hairless.

Also, on the basis of highly effective intensive agrotechnology, seeds were planted on 10,713 hectares of the region, of which 9,340 hectares are foreign and 1,373 hectares are seeds of local cotton varieties.

Seedlings have sprouted in 48 thousand 910 hectares (81.5%) of the seeded areas these days. In these areas, the first processing activities are being carried out between the rows.

 

796 control activities were carried out by the regional department and district departments of the inspectorate in connection with the timely and qualitative implementation of agrotechnical activities during seed planting.

 

To eliminate the identified shortcomings, 3 presentations and 8 written instructions were submitted to local khokimiyats and sector officials, and 785 warning letters were issued to farms.

The regional department and district departments of the inspection constantly monitor the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures in the fields planted with seeds throughout the season.
